The SPCA is a very informal group, and we meet twice a month, on the third Thursday of the month, at 6:00 p.m., and on the last Sunday, at 1:00 p.m. We always meet in downtown Sacramento at 1325 O Street #1, Gary Malmberg's home. Many of us look forward to this evening every month. In October (2013) we decided to form a Pipe Club. There were a number of reasons for this. Ange pointed out that we might get special promotions if we formed a club, and several others agreed that the benefits to all of us would be worth it. At that October meeting we elected four officers to oversee the activities of the club. The dues for the club are only $10.00 per year. The monthly payment of $5.00 per meeting will continue and the tradition of having a tobacco to share, some pizza, and a pipe to raffle if we have a big enough group will continue. (pronounced “CORE” like the Marine Corps), is a non-profit organization, founded for its members and the public to learn about and enjoy the Ancient & Honorable Art & Sport of Pipe Smoking; and to educate and communicate all positive aspects thereof. We also, as much as possible, support Richmond area children’s charities with funds beyond our operating expenses. Membership is open to any person or organization interested in any aspect of the Art & Sport. A dues or sponsorship payment is required (currently $15 per year for individuals). We meet monthly in a social meeting, with some limited business, to enjoy one another’s company for dinner, drink and sharing our love of pipes and tobaccos. The Pipe Club of London	London Metro Area	Meetings are held at various venues in and around the greater London metropolitan area. The Pipe Club of London was formed in 1970 in association with the late Pipe Club of Great Britain with a view to encourage the appreciation of quality pipes and fine tobaccos, and, to promote the interests of members by offering them social entertainment and educational facilities connected with pipes and tobacco.
