Well a few weeks back... Eli Davis was a linehaul driver out of El Paso, great man and always brightened everyone's day. He had a stroke a few weeks ago and passed before he could enjoy retirement. He will be buried with military honors, I never knew he was a veteran, but it does not surprise me...very humble, and gave me some great advice on smoking meats....he was a pit master that knew the craft. But he is from Texas, so he has a leg up on most. www.sunsetfuneralhomes.net/obituaries/Eli-Elie-Davis/?fbclid=IwAR0Q6KEEUkdVzdrwvTzO2Latzzy20IRoMqW25wmALM2Pl0XVv87Z0uFCSjwWhenever he entered dispatch, I would cue up Three Dog Night, he was pretty cool and played along. So long, Hoss! I will see you on the other side of the veil.

Thanks...I just learned today, the timing of my comments are off a bit, because he is already buried, I am on an out of the loop/delayed loop from my former job and reading the obit.

Thanks, without being preachy he was always an encouragement with a mind on things above. A great asset that benefitted me greatly when caught up in this world.
He is on the other side of the veil, doing better than I am!

Sorry for your loss, Charlie. Too many good people departing this earthly realm of late. Joyful souls like your friend always leave a big void when they are called home.
