Started the day with Haunted Bookshop in the Saturday cob and coffee. Spending some of this gray, drizzly Saturday in the workshop.  Want to show you how time can change the finish on these cobs. This is the same cob today. About a year and a half later.  |

2020 Yorktown in the MM 5th Ave-bowled showcob with acrylic stem. Allergies and sinuses went haywire last night and I still can't taste much, but at least I haven't already sneezed 295 times today. This cob is well broken in by now and at some point will take new pipe photos.

Freehand Fridays continue with G H & Co. Rum Flake in a Ben Wade Danish Pride. 
You guys have made me realize that I apparently own no freehand pipes. One or two could be technically considered a freehand in shape, but nothing like a Danish freehand anyway. No pipes at all with rim plateaux.

Freehand Fridays continue with G H & Co. Rum Flake in a Ben Wade Danish Pride.
You guys have made me realize that I apparently own no freehand pipes. One or two could be technically considered a freehand in shape, but nothing like a Danish freehand anyway. No pipes at all with rim plateaux.
You need to getcha some! Or make a few. |

quiet so far, my steps still in Rochester, waiting for arrival of 3 step-grands, no new trips to Goodwill or friendly dumpsters. Tea at desk, BB1938 in both cobs in smoking room..plenty to do back there
