Well, that's a relief!
And maybe a small disappointment. My pea coat is made of wool, so go figure. I do think I need a raspberry beret, though.
Now back to smoking jackets--I hope they don't trip any detectors.

I do have several Harris tween jackets (mostly from Goodwill), and a really comfortable Orvis tweed blazer (also from Goodwill). Although she's mostly kept her opinions to herself, I think my wife hates them all. I know she hates the Orvis one because she said, "I hate that one." and I said, "But honey, it's an Orvis." and she said, "I don't know what that means, but I hate that Orvis one." She bought me a (new!) Ralph Lauren corduroy blazer and made a point of saying, "Look. It even has elbow patches. I hope you get a lot of use from it." |
