One of my favorite actors, William Hurt has died at 71. Prostrate cancer. He will be missed.

Sad to learn this. He was a good actor with so many memorable roles. I got such a kick out of the movie "Altered States".

This hits close to home. I was just Dianosed with prostate cancer. And I'm closing in on 71. Well, his was late stage when they discovered it. If yours is early you should be good. We have several survivors on the forum. |

William Hurt had the jet pack of success on his back in the 80's, he was everywhere and for good reason...a great actor!

It has spread to the bones and lymph nodes. Plus there is a couple of cancerous masses they found. The only option is Chemotherapy and hormone therapy which will start after approval from the insurance company. |
