Somehow I ended up on the retailers mail list, from our pipe club participating in MacBaren's pipe club sampling of the past. I wasn't sure what MAP pricing was... MSRP stands for manufacturer's suggested retail price. The key difference between MSRP and MAP is that MSRP is the actual price manufacturers set and recommend retailers charge for their goods while MAP is the advertised price. While MAP acts as the lower limit for a product's pricing, MSRP acts as the upper limit.

Thanks, Charlie, this does sound interesting. I'll watch for those two at my local B&M in the summer.

Kind of interesting that they're taking a risk with the Presbyterian brand.

Kind of interesting that they're taking a risk with the Presbyterian brand. I think it will be a big hit in the circles of the theologically reformed community of pipe smokers which there are many. Hopefully, it is a great blend.

It's like if Coca-Cola came out with a completely different formulation of Co- wait, hang on a minute.

They both sound interesting, but all this preselling reminds me of when Boston's second LP was in the works. We all ran to the local music store, freely tossing our wallets over the counter; now I can't remember a single track off the record.

They were Smokin' in 1976.😉😎🤠

Gets old… really fast.

Seeing this post I just set a reminder to watch for it to come out so I can buy some, which I will. Thanks for the heads up! Then I thought, I haven't even tried half of the tobaccos in my cellar yet, some have been there for ten years waiting. Then I thought, maybe I should check out the TAD thread.

Only thing in my cellar that I haven't tried is a tin of C & D's Mountain Camp from 07, That also looks like it's about flip it's lid.

Did they take two non aro's and make aro's out of them? That's what you call building on brand marketability.
