Dubai is beginning regular operations of passenger drones this summer. They're using the Chinese EHang 184, and it can carry one 260lb person and a small suitcase. You get in, punch in your destination, and off it goes, connected to a control room over a 4G network. Right now, it can only fly for half an hour over 31 miles at 100mph, but has already been upgraded since it was first seen in Las Vegas in 2016. Nevada is currently seeking FAA approval on the 184. Google 'dubai passenger drone', and you'll get hits from many sources. Here it is. Not sure if it would make the best designated driver drone; you should probably wait for the rotors to stop before you get out.
