Facebook just told me that 3 of my posts were objectionable. I looked at them and I have no idea why. Were they pictures of yourself? I've gotta see if I can find you on Facebook. No. They were just totally inoculous comments. |

I have to say that as much as I dislike Facebook it was a lot easier to post pics. But by and large their pipe groups are pretty weak… .photo after photo of ugly bearded guys in T-shirts taking selfies of themselves smoking this or that pipe. Who cares LOL. Now beautiful gals would be different and appreciated. Your lips to God's ears, brother! I guess as some get older, the Kardashian influence takes root in some people. It is nice to put a face to a name, and maybe more so with a pipe in the mouth on a pipe related site, but I don't get the constant hey look at me! I like showing some of my pipes when I have them clean enough worth showing, but I don't need my mug in the shot. And just to be clear, I am not criticizing anyone on this forum that shows their face with a pipe from time to time, the serial selfie posters on some social media sites are over the top...it as if they figure it is their job to build a shrine of sorts...don't get it. Agree with the beautiful gals, too! |

Trailboss, you are spot on. And most of the time the multitudes that post selfies in Facebook pipe forums don’t tell you anything about the pipe they are smoking, the tobacco they are smoking, nada. Total waste of time if you are there to learn anything. And to add insult to injury, you have to deal with Facebook’s WOKE politics and censorship in the process. I finally had enough and closed my account and never looked back. There is life after Facebook.

A little color makes a corncob much more interesting, doesn't it? Glad my MM before and after Riverboat Gambler photos finally made it over. I also installed a hardwood plug on the bottom to increase the bowl’s life span by slowing down burn-through. |

I can't see the pics of your Riverboat Gambler. Finally figured out what I did wrong and the before and after pics were successfully upoaded above. Postimage is a lot easier than Imgar. Admin. feel free to delete my attempts earlier in this thread to post pics that did not “take.” Thanks and I apologize for my newbie ignorance.  |
