My wife planted tulips, last Fall, and they are struggling to come out. We have had a very cold spring, so far.

My wife planted tulips, last Fall, and they are struggling to come out. We have had a very cold spring, so far. Ours came and went. I was pretty disappointed by how small they were and the short time they lasted. This year was the first time we had tulips so I had no previous experience with them, but I don't think that we'll plant them again. |

Last year, they came out great and it was such a pleasure to look at them. |

I've bought a couple of some kind of hybrid daylilies. Just got them planted. They look promising.
I'll post pictures if they bloom.

I planted these 2 irises recently. They were both blooming in the pots. Gone now - but they'll be back next year.   Ordered 2 more breaded irises, but they won't arrive until August - the planting time for bare root rhizomes. One is a deep orange (called "Disco Music") and the other a deep blue (called "Blueberry Bliss"). |
