MacBaren Golden Extra from 2014 in a Joh’s freehand. Watching the sun drop in Las Vegas, cool patio managers reception at the hotel, so the drinks are free. A Russky sitting across from me telechatting… Boris Badenov… think he is talking to Natasha. Or maybe chatting with Fearless Leader... Pegasus in the Wednesday cob.

7/2020 GLP Union Square in an RDP strawberry briar sandblasted bulldog with a midnight blue ebonite stem and redwood burl stem inlay.
That is one nice looking bulldog. Ron made some good pipes.

Loud telechatting across from me. I finished my pipe and left.

Stokkebye Luxury Twist Flake in a Kaywoodie Redroot Cherrywood/Poker. I bought a boatload of the three Stokkebye flakes when they were well under $2.00 an ounce. Glad that I did…. The November sales of Stokkebye was just too good to pass up, and they get so much better with age.

Finished the morning with the chainsaw and have a huge pile out front for the trash pickup tomorrow. I just finished the pipe I started this morning but laid down in an attempt to get the yard work done before it got too hot. Mission accomplished. I might be getting too old for all this strenuous activity in the heat....

2017 Der Pfeifenladen #300 in my Kaywoodie Super Grain small Billiard. Der Pfeifenladen is a pipe shop in Berlin which I visited in the spring of 2017. The blend is a long Va flake with a touch of honey made for the shop by K&K. Think Heinrich’s Golden Sliced with a bit of honey added.

Just starting some Rattray Sir William in my Cumberland 4407 with horn mount (2021). Man, this tobacco dried pretty fast, and I'm not even 1/2 way through the tin.

Finishing off my open 2015 McC 3 Oaks Syrian in my 2008 Dunhill Amber Root 4103 oval shank Billiard. Nice grain! Thanks! I saw it on the very first table I looked at on Saturday morning at the Chicago Show. The oval shank on a Billiard is a nice touch. As a bonus, he was selling it unsmoked for a decent amount below list price.

Thanks! And yeah he did, I recall you having a couple of his pipes as well. Yes,
I have two of his. A Rhodesian, and a large bent billiard. Both good smokers.
Had some Bald Headed Teacher in a Morgan Bones "Calabash" earlier. Now enjoying some Dark Birds Eye in a large reverse calabash meer.
