It wouldn't be hard at all to match. Frog Morton Cellar was just Virginia and Cyprian Latakia with a dash vanilla and cure and age it in an old whiskey barrel. Some questioning about whether all the flavor is just the whisky, and it could be. Uh-huh. Jiminks says that they can never be matched. Jim thinks FMC is an average crossover aromatic English. What he means, is their cutting style and procurement of tobaccos, and attention to detail. But throwing some Lat and VA into the same whiskey barrels and possibly tossing in the stave cube could produce a reasonable facsimile if it were quality leaf.
Nobody is going to match the McNeal's attention to detail and processing of fine Virginia leaf in that way as a product, no.

Haddo's Delight in a Grabow billiard. I chipped an incisor with my fork at dinner. (Don’t judge me!) Anyway, it's my durned pipe tooth, so I'm smoking out of the other side of my face for the weekend.

Continuing trying the 4Noggins blends I got last week. Right now is Catamount in a cob, which I bought because it's named after a cat. The description, mild cherry flavor, left me with low expectations, but this is actually exceptional for what it is. This is the fifth I have tried of their blends and I have to say they are all great. Great in the sense they have been exactly what they were advertised to be and of excellent quality. I have been quite pleasantly surprised.
