Now smoking 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight Lane era Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Ice tea and bergs is my drink.

Supper was pasta alfredo topped with diced tomatoes, black olives and a little jalapeno. Pea to dime size hail a few minutes ago, raining sideways. Smoking Solani 660 Silver Flake in a blasted seriously bent Baki meerschaum poker, drinking hot tea with lemon and watching weather warnings. Looks like it's winding down and moving on.

Today was a rainy dreary day and put me in the mood for some homemade stew and cornbread for dinner. Since my little blonde was working til 7pm, that meant if I wanted stew, I'd be a fixin it.
So, got home and an hour later, after peelin taters, browning the stew meat, cuttin up fresh carrots, celery, dicing scallions and got er to boilin and a simmerin. While that was cookin away, I whipped up a batch of cornbread and put it in the oven.
About the time swmbo got home, things were ready.
Finished that up with a nice cold frosty mug of Corona and bowl of MM965 in my bent billiard.

51F and cloudy, rainy and not much warmer today. Starting out with some Watch City Slice in a 1998 smooth silver banded quarter bent Peterson 999 with a fishtail stem and 9mm balsa filter, drinking trader Joe's coffee black and listening to NPR. VA appointment the order of the day.

got two new tobaccos yesterday, C&D's Cross-Eyed Cricket is rather moist so it's sitting out for a bit, but the War Horse Ready Cut is just right so I'm smoking that in my MM unpolished bent Apple Diplomat with amber stem, sipping 1893 Pepsi Blackcurrant Cola.
