Yep they're currently working on a VaPer using simply red. Revision 1 has other stuff added to it.
I like Simply Red and R&B, and damn near everything I've smoked from them.... But I'd be content with just 558 and Old Dominion. Good choices.

Received these from SP, TP, and Pipe & Leaf on Thursday and Friday...... Good to know that someone around here is immune to sales and limited edition campaigns.

Well, I can now see why TobaccoPipes has run out of Sun Bear. Oh well, next time.

I am not sure about Sun Bear, but San Sepolcro is one of my favorite tobaccos. I thin k I have about 15 to 20 tins now.....I could not justify buying more than one Stokkebye Aged Virginia though at $20+. Being as it's manufactured by SG, I had to try some though..... Good for you Greg. Enjoy. Either one of two things happen when I get a notification. Due to the time difference, the rarer blends are all gone by the time it's morning here. Or I've just made an order and already spent that fortnights budget.

Wow, what a collection. Haven't tried a single one of those. Truth be known I'd buy every one just for the tin art with the hope that the tobacco was good, lol. Since they have no health warnings, the empty tins will be sought after by tin collectors, so I hope you don't bin them.

You aren't kidding about that Sansepolcro! I can't believe that isn't a permanent addition to their catalogue. I was very fortunate to get a second attempt at that stuff after trying it, so I have a few tins put back.
I missed out on the Sun Bear. Fine with me though. Last thing I need is another unobtanium to fall in love with. hahaha
Let us know how that Aged VA is.

Outstanding, Elric...glad your cellar is getting what it and you needs. Thanks Walt. Considering the situation here and my lack of choice just 18 months ago, I'm now doing really really well.

This weeks travels had me mostly in state (NC), with a quick trip this afternoon to SC. Yesterday's schedule allowed for a little "me" time, so I stopped in @ McCranie's in Cornelius. As luck would have it, he had a few tins that caught my eye.... Couldn't beat the prices... The Esoterica's were $14.50 each, the others were $13.50 a piece. The cigars? Well that's a different story, ultra rare Arturo Fuente's. Dino

Yeah, That^^^is a beautiful picture....but only to a pipe smoker. Hmmm I suppose there are a few of those around here... 😀 PS As mentioned, there are others who collect tins for history and/or arts sake. In another few years they might be part of someone's tin art collection; Especially as the illustrations are not obscured by smoking kills adds. SPC Special Reserve is selling between $11-18 on Cigarbid lately.

Very nice, briarbuck...my old mentor and pipe shop owner had a dozen or so of the BR Ex's...he was a big man and needed a good sized pipe and his love of Comoy was reflected in my buying also. The old Comoy pipes were something to behold..beautiful wood and not a spec of fill...if it had a 3 piece "C" it was flawless...gave most of mine to my good friend AJ, as he was collecting and I had them for 50 years and decided to let them live longer than me, hopefully. I kept 2, my first pipe a Golden Grain Canadian and an OomPaul that I still smoke.
