Sam found some at Tobaccopipes and gave me a heads up. I've been looking there and it's always been out of stock. I was going to get 2 pounds but they only had 1 1 lb bag left. And instead of getting 2 8oz bags and paying that whole $3 extra, I got 1 and a new cob It's not even to smoke for now. It's for the deep cellar, which is why getting more wasnt a pressing matter. Its phenomenal with a few years on it.

A Peterson Xl5s Deluxe System pipe is on its way from Canada. I hope that Customs doesn't damage it! I have been wanting one of these for a long time and this is in my favorite shape.

I received a box today from P&C, apparently one of the fine members here decided that I needed to try some samplers, for which I am extremely grateful.....33 X 2oz. sampler bags of, I guess, everything that Sutliff blends. I've never tried any of these blends! But I am looking forward to trying each and every one...gonna take me a while to get through all these. 33 2oz. bags is a lot of tobacco! Many thanks to that person.

Earlier this week I met one of my sales people up in Cary NC. After lunch, before I had to catch a flight to Chicago, we stopped by a Cigar & Pipe shop (mostly cigars). As we were sitting there, enjoying our Oscar Sumatra's, I spied 4 tins of Esoterica on their shelves. They were $14.95 each, needless to say I couldn't resist. ;-) (I know, I know! I've already got 35 or so tins and 15 or 20 bags of Esoterica on the shelves, but hey, ya never know when the fine folks over on the Isle of Jersey might quit making the stuff! ;-P

Pembroke is always the last thing to sell out, but it's one of my favorites out of the lot. Not a lot of gentle aromatics like that out there.

Two packages showed up unexpectedly on Saturday. The USPS was promising on Monday. Only problem was I couldn't snag them off the porch before my Social, Menu, and Financial Adviser moved them in the house along with some light fixtures we had ordered. Oddly enough, she said nothing at all about what was obviously a tobacco shipment. I guess my hard work in the basement is paying off! Anyway: Watch City Blends: 1 lb of Quint's Own, 1 lb of Rhythm & Blues, 8 oz of 4Q, and 8 oz of Deluxe Crumb Cut. Plus 100 .7mil mylar bags from Pleasant Grove Farms - 50 pint and 50 2 quart. Pints for bulk and 2qt for tins in long term storage. This will be my first try with the mylar bags.

I've been contemplating mylar bags. But I KNOW that jars have worked for years. It's a tough decision for me.
I got my watch city order in today and a package I forgot about from Bouwser.
