the second box to arrive today. I think you might be able to guess who my generous friend is by the adorable pipe in the photo. 😊 I have just been in awe of the generosity I've experienced being directed my way since I joined this forum. I didn't know there were so many people like myself out there. It's a nice realization to come upon in my late 30s. _ Attachments:

Those are cool pipes M'Lady, have you tried your Distinguished Gentleman yet? Curious as to someone else's thoughts on it.

Between playing with Fred the Red cat and not so tiny Tiny dog, I opened a new pouch of Captain Black Grape, which I stuffed some into the new Nording Compass silver. I like the Compass and Sailor because they are handy when out and about. Still drinking strong coffee!

Busy day today. I took the wife to an area hospital for upper and lower endoscopy. Everything at a hospital takes seeming much longer than it should. We arrived shortly after 12 pm. It was about 4:30 pm when we finally on our way home. My TADS package came. Three pouches of Capt. Black Grape, two oz. od P. Stokkebye Norwegian blend, two oz. of P. Stokkebye Amsterdam blend and eight oz. of Lane Ltd. Black Toasted Cavendish. In the box was also a Washington Missouri Meerschaum and the Nording Compass (silver) I've already smoked the Nording Compass twice. Once with C&D Crooner, and once with the Grape. I am now going to try some of the Lane LTD. Toasted Cavendish in the huge Blakemar Briars Giant.

80 degrees here every day for the last two weeks I believe, the same forecasted for going forward.... I was soaking it up today, glad that we aren’t in the snow belt.

Haven't had any Missouri Meerschaums since I started smoking a pipe in '73. Tonight I ordered a "Polished Morgan" and an "Ozark Mountain Hardwood".

Exactly why I'm glad to have been born and raised in Central California. This time of year, while technically still winter, feels like springtime coastal weather about half the time. Thankfully I'm also OK with sitting in the freezing cold to smoke a pipe, but I'm not too keen on smoking a pipe in the summer time. For me, smoking a pipe in the summer is akin to eating ice cream in the snow.

Everything Rattray's! Just ordered tins of a few blends that have been in my wish list for some time now.
So for all you Rattray's fans, SmokingPipes is stocked at the moment.
Alas, no Exotic Orange...

After months of searching, the finding and now weeks of waiting for it to arrive, due to a wrong zip on the package, it has finally arrived!
