I got an email yesterday from Tobaccopipes.com with the subject line, "Cornell & Diehl Haunted Bookshop Cake is now available!" but when I clicked on the link today the listing said it's out of stock. I haven't checked other retailers. Here's the description from the C&D site:
"Available in convenient 2oz tins, and presented in crumble cake format, Haunted Bookshop Cake combines all of the benefits of the pressing process — including increased aging potential and an enhanced melding of flavors — with the ease of preparation enjoyed from ribbon cut blends, pipe smokers can simply tear off a delicious chunk and load the bowl."
Might be worth a try for those who like this blend.

I have about a pound of the regular stuff cellared right now. I don’t need any more but if it’s actually available and a good sale pops up one day I might try it. Interesting.

I'm good on HB, but it sounds good. C&D would press a pound of any of their blends for you, way back when.

Right, you used to be able to have anything pressed in the early 2000's days.

Not a fan of Haunted Bookshop. I'll let everyone else run for this one.

Not a fan of Haunted Bookshop. I'll let everyone else run for this one. Actually, that's my situation too; I used to like it, but my tolerance for burley has diminished. But it's a classic Bob Runowski blend that many love, and it commemorates a book that gave me much pleasure, so I'm happy to get the word out.

Don't care for the old one, not buying the new one.
