That's a flippin' sweet Grabow Westbrook Dublin, Pete! I'm smoking some 2015 Chenet's Cake in a Savinelli unfinished 904KS with gold pearl stem. Thanks, Zach. I have several different shapes of Westbrooks. The double-rusticated Westie is one of my favorite Grabow lines.

Had no time to smoke today, but I sit here clenching a Sav. Giubeleo d'Oro 313 sandblast, and the ash tastes like it might have been Marlin Flake.

The taste is very flat. It might not make much difference with Virginias but it sucks the flavor out of burleys, English and aro blends. I get this from all Meershaum pipes. Anyone else? It might be that I've never smoked a meer enough to get it broken in. Yeah, new ones will mute the flavor for a while until the chamber starts to get saturated with tobacco oils.

Super Value Black and Gold in my favorite calabash. I was feeling nostalgic and I used to smoke this back in the early 80’s. Keeping with the nostalgic theme I am playing some records from then and I picked up a fifth of Kessler’s and a bottle of Coke which is also bringing back memories. And a 6-pack of Stroh's or Goebel? Carling Black Label would be my nostalgic choice, but I haven’t seen that for a while now

WC Slices in my favorite calabash. I just finished applying the first coat of polyurethane to my kitchen cabinets and a pipe sounded like a nice break.

And a 6-pack of Stroh's or Goebel? I really liked Strohs. Growing up in Michigan, of course, the original white can Stroh's was a well loved part of my youth. The Coors reboot in a blue can was a pale shadow of the original.
