More Haunted Bookshop in the Friday cob, as I trim plants and spruce up flower beds. Working in the shade as best I can.

Some June 2020 Sutliff Mixture #79 in an MM Country Gentleman cob. Did the PG evaporate some? I bought a pouch and the tobacco ruined the cake in one of my pipes, which was fully caked. As well, the pipe's tobacco chamber's walls were all shiny and kind of wet. Which is too bad because I do like the cut, the aroma and the taste of that tobacco.

It stays moist until you dry it substantially. I only smoke Mixture #79 in cobs. You really have to dry out the aromatic Sutliff blends and smoke them slowly. Moisture won't evaporate in sealed mason jars, so if you keep it freshly jarred, you're always going to have to dry it down.

Earlier, while getting the grill ready for steaks, Three Friars in the Friday cob. Now, with steak in stomach, Haunted Bookshop in the Friday cob. The rest of my dinner wine (7 Deadly Zins) to pair.

Heavily leaning into Wilke's 184 which pairs really well with a Dubbonet with an orange twist. I've been topping off with Crystal Palace but 184 has that sweet sourness one craves.

Smoking a leftovers mixture of mixture #79, 2001 Gallaher's Rich Dark Honeydew flake, and I think a pinch of Three Friars. In a Mark Twain cob. Mostly M79 powered but has had a nice consistent backbone of the honeydew flake.

Pegasus in the MM 5th ave diplomat with blue/white swirl acrylic saddlebit. Probably for 3-4 bowls of it, we're playing spades.
