The delivery person just brought my new sneakers.
I'm going to try them out now to see how fast they are.

I got a new pair last year and they are very good, but they didn't make me fast.
Before that I bought a kettlebell and way back before that a weight bench and some weights, but for some reason they didn't make me strong.
I'm starting to think I'm missing something.
Good luck though, and please sneak back in later and tell us how you like them.

Phbbt. Nope. I guess it only works until age ten.
I do like them, though. And a day I can tie my own shoes is good day.

You need P.F. Flyers if you want to run faster and jump Higher, but they might be back before your time. As for getting them tied, the middleman, or perhaps, the middle-mass, keeps me in slip-ons. Congrats on the new kicks, enjoy!

There's my problem. They're Skechers.
They were a little before my time, but I think P. F. Flyers made a comeback, or tried to, a few years back.

How about Red Ball Jets? Similar vintage to the original PF Flyer.

I’ve become almost addicted to Crocs. No need to even bend down.

Seventy-five dollars? For sneakers? Egad. sounds crazy to guys like us, but kids these days pay twice that much and don't bat an eye. I remember when 75 bucks was rent money!

Ed Duncan, Batavia, NY easy on footwear even with the daily 2-miles walks. Does the cigar for company make 'em last better?!

New sneaks are fun!
Back in the day, NYC cops used to call them “perpetrator shoes.”

I used to spend ridiculous amounts of money on sneakers. It's Vans and Merrells for me these days.

I have short wide feet so consequently I’ve been buying the same style of new balance shoe for 2 decades. Their about 50-60 a pair from joes new balance. I can’t imagine spending $$$ on a pair of sneakers but people do.

In summer I wear something similar to high top Keds or PF Flyers. "Palladium" six inch canvas boots with a rubber outsole and lug soles. Developed for the French Foreign Legion on North African duty during the 1950s, the company was sold off and they are now made in China. Still good quality, light, cool and can handle the wet and dry of an irrigator.

I like Skechers. I think they fit best for me. Hate New Balance, always hurt my feet.

I haven't worn sneakers for probably the last 25 or 30 years. I wear boots. I just prefer the way they fit and feel. About the most athletic thing I do anymore, anyway, is jump out of the way when I spill something.

Since I retired I wear Crocs more than anything. Working around the house and going most places I wear Bates duty boots with arch support insoles. I have some New Balance walkers, but they don't feel as good as they did when I wore them to work every day. I have a pair of Hokas that I got on sale. Regular 165 on sale for 120. They are the only lace-up shoes that feel good anymore. I don't wear them much because I don't want to buy another pair. The Keds and PF Fliers were never comfortable for me.

Seventy-five dollars for tennis shoes is a steal. Just bought school shoes for my kids that were easily twice that. I can't wear them due to broken arches but the steel toed boots that I always wear are never less than $280.

Especially, if you'll willingly spend $100++ on pieces to smoke out of, gotta take care of your feet.
