Nice looking pipe. Doesn't look like much rim discoloration. Did it set you back much?

Maggie, you got a real nice pipe for the money. Cleaned up New Standards go for over $100. The fact that it still has the brass rondell is a real plus. It would be worth sending it out for a cleanup and shine. That's one of GBD's most popular shape. Well done, lady.

thanks! good to know, I was a little concerned paying that much without knowing for sure what it was, but seeing you guys talk about GBD I thought it was worth the risk, lol.

Other then the bit being a bit chewed up you have a nice pipe. When you find a restorer it will probably bring you closer to the money John said. I think you paid retail on it, but that is only my opinion as I like hitting homeruns all the time on estates.

I have to admit, when you said they had a GBD, I half wanted to ask if you would pick it up if you werent interested.
That is a nice pipe at a very good price, you will love it...if you don't have a good pipe shop nearby to clean it up it would be well worth the time to send it to Mike Myers at Walker Briar works...it will look stunning, I am sure.
