Nichelle Nichols has passed at 89 years of age. Uhura, our favorite communications officer. And my favorite character from Deadpool. RIP.

good long life in these days. Supposedly later on, got into the drugs. Me late wifie never complained when I called Nichelle a real hottie. Condolences to her family.
Added RIP to any family of superstar & civil rights activist Bill Russell (around same age)

Larry Fitzgerald had a really nice tribute on his Facebook page for MrRussell, along with the post from the NBA commissioner. I can get behind these great icons that stood for equality. Modern day so called “justice warriors” not so much…. Cheap imitations of the real thing. |

Oh, you're right. My wife told me wrong! People have been looking for you. Hoping that you are OK. Eastern counties were hit pretty hard with the flooding but Central Kentucky has had little more than mils showers for weeks. All dry here.  |

I know a pastor (5 kids) that was suppose to move into a parsonage next month in Kentucky, the home became a houseboat.
Divine Providence played a role.

A lot of sermon material gained through the experience, I reckon. |
