very nice! i refuse to get one, however, if the term 'codger' goes with it, because a lady can never be a codger.

Hmm, would "codgeress" be the right term then?

That's a beautiful pipe, Frank. Congrats and enjoy. I guess this makes me a "big" codger.

Well I guess I am a codger cause I have 2 Oohm Pauls and prefer simple over the counter blends. May be some day I will crack a tin or two. Nothing like a cob filled with a good simple Burley. Well I guess a briar fills the need too.

I thought you became a codger when you started yelling at people to get off your lawn?

That is a sharp looking OOM Paul, and a really nice example of what one should be.

Today I´ve got another Oom Paul that I restored for a friend. Now he only smoke pipes with filters and this one doesn´t have a filter provision so he gave it to me! I even got another one from him which is rather special. I will show it later to you guys and hope you´re getting green with envy....

That´s a nice one Brad! Never seen a Bertram here in Europe. Ask the young kids how they see us with the pipes and grey hair - we´re codgers to them, like it or not!
