Whattaya recommend for cleaning/sweetening the bowl of an estate pipe that’s smoking rough?

Not a bowl sweetener, but Everclear cleans better than anything I found in order to return a pipe back to a neutral taste.

151 rum. If that doesn't work then Decatur Briar-Fresh Airway Cleaner. P&C sells it.

Thanks, guys. I have that Airway cleaner. (Says not to use on wood. Does that include briar? I would assume so.)
