Great job at repurposing cabinetry from days of yore to provide service in days of our lives.😉 The flip down surface really helps with keeping spillage in one spot. I see a whole lot of furniture in antique stores that are ideal for pipe smoking repurposing. If I had more room, I would get a map drawer cabinet for my pipes, no dust, no UV rays. Darin has the same setup for his cigars, sounds like a great way to go.

Nice ... looks like we'll see you over in the cigar thread too. 👍😎 Probably a little.... been smoking cigars a long time......but the vast breadth of the spectrum of pipe tobacco currently has me enthralled...LOL. These last couple of years when I grab a stick I've been like, yeah this is nice, but I'm ready for a pipe.

I used to actually have 2 of these converted wine coolers packed to the hilt with cigars. One of them died and I had to cut back on that a bit. Being in Arizona, I wanted to have my cigars at 65RH and 70ish temp. I created a recycling system for the humidity beads, fans on timers etc. I only need to add a spritz of water once a month as it is totally self contained.

Some of you may get a kick out of this; often times in the evening I'll be sitting at my tabaccy station organizing or cleaning a pipe, whatever. My 10 year old daughter comes in and pulls up a stool and we have what she has entitled "tabaccy talks". She sits there and asks whatever wild little questions her brain can think of. Usually science, bible or animal questions. Good times.

If I'm smoking something aromatic and pleasant, my daughter will actually take a puff and enjoy it. Hope I have a smoking buddy when she's older.

Beautiful repurpose of an old piece of fine furniture. I especially like the disco lights.

I was looking for something like that but my mother in law gave me a hutch that works well. Price was right!
