I ran across Klaus Priebe on Facebook, he is a photographer based in Santa Fe, he travels to a lot of the places I go...some of his pics.... Shiprock NM.  Don't go near Taos, where John lives. ![]() A beautiful sunset and lightning bolt out at the Rio Grande Del Norte National Monument outside of Taos NM.  Again near Taos.  We see a lot of wild horses   Canyon De Chelly near Chinle Az.  Near Moab, Utah    Monument Valley  Oak Creek Canyon, Sedona  Grand Canyon     Near Abiqui NM, I lost a turbo on my Kenworth near here...a long day. Georgia O'Keife's ranch is nearby. The landscape is so incredible and ever changing with the seasons, and the way the light filters down from the clouds with the colors. I drove along Canyon DeChelley one night and it was electric, quite mesmerizing. No shoulders to pull off on and snap a picture, but all I travel with is an IPhone anyway…😕
Monument valley is always a delight, once John Ford found it, he came to the same conclusion. He didn’t have to deal with land yachts suddenly braking and weaving when a vista opens up around a bend… I know the spots now to anticipate that.😉
