Fantastic brother! I'm sure that's such a relief! Huge. Today I saw her awake for the first time. My eyes were red from crying so she was giving me a hard time. She said “it’s ok to cry once in a while, I know you’re human, you’re always taking care of everything for everyone”. Then she asked that, when she gets out of the hospital, can I take her fishing on her favorite pier. |

What a great thing to behold as she regained consciousness!
It goes to show that some of the most simple things in life, are the most treasured, what a tough journey for her, prayers unabated.

I saw Hope today. I said goodbye. She wanted ice chips from Sonic so I ran down the block(she says they have the best ice). I’m flying home tomorrow so we spent about 5 hours together and she promised to stay strong and I promised to come down and fish as soon as she is able to. The pier closes in October she said. Her birthday is October 6th. Sounds like a good birthday present to me

I too am just seeing this, I've been absent a day or two. Scott, I know what it's like to have a daughter in the hospital like this. My prayers to you and your family for a full recovery! You can fish all year in Florida. |
