I too am just seeing this, I've been absent a day or two. Scott, I know what it's like to have a daughter in the hospital like this. My prayers to you and your family for a full recovery! You can fish all year in Florida. Maybe one day, right now I’m just trying to get her home |

Great news that she is recovering. I cannot believe the fear you must have been feeling till she woke up. I have 4 kids and that is the biggest fear in my life. Keep being strong and let he know how she scared the piss out of you and please not do it again.

When I came to in the ICU, my folks were standing there and said, "You scared us out of about 10 years of life!" I grunted and said, "Didn't do myself much good, either." |

She’s being treated for a blood clot and is still in the hospital. Good news is that her insurance company will allow her to do her rehab here in NJ so my wife will bring her home here when she gets out. She will have me, we mom, her brother and her aunt (who is a ccu nurse) available at all times until she gets to where she needs to be. Kid can’t catch a break

Not only is a support staff on the clinical side (nurse), great news, but the most important people in her life. That should make the recovery a much better road to travel.

She just left the hospital! Headed up here to NJ where she will be rehabbing and staying with my sister in law (lives 10 minutes away) who will be here caregiver until she’s back to normal. The doctors all came to say goodbye and said this was really a miracle that she’s alive and able to come home.

Can’t tell you guys how much I appreciate the support and prayers. Means a ton to know how many people were pulling for her. She FaceTimed me from the car to show me that she was in a car. So many things we take for granted
