Rain continues here in Memphis for the 4th day, so I'm dressed for being indoors. Same here. Supposed to end around 4am.

Did go outside a bit earlier, 47, brisk, Haband bib overalls over thermals, usual footwear for activity, well worn rubber bottom shoes, 20yrs old from LLBean. Now just house-rags, burn holes in most of same, thanx to pipe/cigar.
Ed-somehow functioning in most ways

Mid-weight Haband house-rags semi-cleanish. Add knit cap when out to bring in snail-mail.
Ed-dresses for temps mostly

I bought a Tricoteur Guernsey island sweater 2 years ago, and another cardigan from them this fall. I think I’ll make it a yearly thing. I have been living in these sweaters all winter long. Bullet proof British wool, made for this kind of cold windy dreary weather we’ve been having along the coast. I never thought I’d be so happy with a sweater. Must be getting old.

I always loved sweaters, but I have never lived where I could wear them. I have a green, hand made Arran sweater I got in 84 that I have never worn. Same. (Well, except for the hand-made sweater.) I've always liked sweaters and jackets and coats, but only lived a couple of years in climates where I could really give them a ton of use.
But, as I've gotten a bit older, I find I'm a bit more cold-natured than I used to be and I'm getting to wear them more. I wore my Lebowski cardigan around the house almost every day over the winter. Small bonus of getting older, I guess.

Another just house-rags day ahead, going nowhere. While upstairs, hear noises, turned out was my spring-summer duds letting me know it was time to get them handy
