first bowl of Embarcadero from a freshly opened tin almost 1 1/2 years old. Very nice, even though it will likely be better a tad drier. Finding I really like VA/Orientals. Stressy day, so this is really hitting the spot with a libation.

Out and about late afternoon and most of evening. Took Haunted Bookshop and the Wednesday cob along for company. At home, after a late dinner, Three Friars/Bayou Morning mix in the Wednesday cob. Cold beer and a little brown liquor to pair.

Started the day with Haunted Bookshop in the Thursday cob and coffee on the front porch. Currently 59, headed to 61, and very breezy after a high of 91 here, yesterday. We won't see the 70s for several days around here. Happy Autumn, everyone.  |
