I did and smoking some now. I would recommend letting it age before opening, it was just tinned 2 weeks ago. I can tell it will be good in a while but right now it's got some rough edges.

Got a few, there's another thread about it that Charlie started last week. Going to be smoking some from 2016 today. I won't open any of these for like 5-8 years.
rectifythis How are you smoking some already when it released last night? Picked one up at the local B&M? Does make me want to swing by my shop and see if they had any preordered and stocked. |

I bought 10 tins a few years ago and I cracked one when I got it and it was quite rough. I jarred it up and opened it a few weeks ago and it was much more mellow and smooth. Still not my favorite, but it's better with age.

Yup, B&M had some. Thanks, I will stop by...I am long overdue to have a talk with Paul. I chose not to buy any online, I have the habit of always buying in $100.00 quantities to trigger free shipping, because I am a cheapskate. I prefer not to do so at this time in order to ensure domestic tranquility....and it really is silly to do so. I have boatloads of old stock CRF, so I really don't need any, but I will snag 4 tins if he has them in stock...it will be pricier than online, but we need to support our local tobacconist. |
