Hi folks,
please keep my wife, Sharon. in your thoughts. She left our house by rescue squad night before last, with chest pains, and today we finally spoke with a doctor who looked at the results of her tests, and took the time to communicate. She has an enlarged heart and something going on in the bottom of her left lung that he wanted to hold off discussing until after tomorrow's testing.

Same here, my wife goes into surgery Monday, I know the feeling on things you can’t control, you have my thoughts! And you mine, Brad. I just got home from the hospital. Sharin is heading for the cath-lab right about now, but when I last saw her, her coloring was very good, and her sprit was high. Thank you all for your kindness.  |

Thanks so much everybody, I just got off the phone with my wife; she has a new stint to go with the two that were installed back in November. They have her potassium level back up where it should be. I'm told a good deal of her body pains came from a dangerously low potassium level. Not a word about her lungs, but she did tell me she'll be home tomorrow.
Were it anyone else, I'd say there's no way they'll send her home tomorrow, but on any given day, Sharon controls most of the English-speaking world, and I fully expect her to walk through the kitchen door before noon...and that's a good thing!

Getting a proper potassium level can REALLY help. My Dad used to have problems keeping his potassium level up. When it got too low, he’d have a bunch of weird issues which would all clear up when his level was brought back up to normal. |
