Our only option is DQ and I hate hate hate the apps that they want us to use for any discounts. They are way more trouble than they are worth.

I have a totally different view.
I don’t eat at McDonalds very often, but I like their coffee and dollar iced tea. Practically everytime I use their app there is a freebie, be it a breakfast sandwich, free fries, hamburger.
When I pull up to McDonalds in Gilda bend, it is always packed (Gila bend is on hiway 8 between Tucson/ PHX> San Diego) so it gets a lot of traffic.
The same time that I pull in the parking lot as people in cars, I place an online order while they get out of their car. 2 minutes later I head in, and it is not unusual my number is called as I walk in,
and the people that pulled in are at the back of the line waiting for the people in front of them that act like they don’t know how to place an order. Walk back out to my truck and back on the road.
And the discounts available on the app aren’t available in store, I am not exaggerating at all.

Carl's Jr, along with In N Out, represent a higher standard among Burger joints. Sadly, neither are in my area. McDonald's is always the last resort for me. Not complaining. They are what they are. I could go to a local diner but probably will not.

For McD’s it is about the dollar Iced tea, free fries or burger are icing when spending $1.
The western bacon cheese at Carl’s are quite good, and free always tastes a little better.😉

Carl's is the best of the fast foods in my opinion. But I will celebrate with a buffalo burger at home .
