Look at ones with carbon filters if you want to get rid of the smoke. I got this one on OfferUp New in box for $150.00, but for the price and the reviews, I would not recommend it. Having said that, I can smoke my pipe in the living room, my wife cannot smell that I smoked. www.allerair.com/products/airmedic-pro-5-hdRabbit air products has a lot of fans in the pipe and cigar community, but they are pricey… but buy once, cry once is usually the way to go. A simple unit like a Honeywell you get at Costco isn’t going to be much help with smoke. You also have to consider the air handling of your house, in my office I have a return register right above the desk, smoking in there is a non starter. If you have plenty of coin to spend, it definitely gives you some great options in dedicating a room to be your smoking room.

There are two parts to removing smoke and then to make the room smell nice.
It depends on who big the room is, but the only thing that removes smoke is what is called a Hepa filter. It is a 3 stage system and it's job is to move smoke at so many CFM's per hour. If the room is big enough grab a couple so you can series them.
Next is smell and only a high grade Ozinator works. A good one will be 200-400. You don't want to be in the room when the Ozinator is working as it is not good to breath. Once you are done smoking for the night, turn on the Ozinator and let it work over night. I spent 20 years removing smoke and smell in my pool hall and had 4 1500 CFM Hepa filters seriesed to move the smoke to each individual unit. The system is a hepa filter, a charcoal filter and then a soft blue filter. The soft blue filters were changed every month and the other parts once a year or so. Anything less than this is really a waste of time.
Do your research and see what you come up with. The cheap 150-200 smoke eaters are garbage. I forgot to mention the Hepa filters have to hang from the ceiling.

I agree with cigarmaster, with one caveat. You seem to smoke all sweet aromatic smokes. I'm not sure how often you smoke, if more than two bowls per day, etc. but if you're only smoking a couple bowls per day of those sweet rum and maple aromatic blends I'd just avoid the huge cost and smoke inside and open a window or two. Yeah, sure you'll have cold Canadian air. I also live in Northern Indiana where it's very cold in the winter and I just smoke with my office window open and close it 20 or so minutes after I'm done smoking.
Otherwise, you're looking at forking out at least $500+ for anything decent that will actually filter smoke in a full sized room. I've recommended before using a setup of a charcoal can filter and a high CFM inline fan, this is a setup that cannabis growers use to filter strong odors and you'd be able to readily purchase these all around you in Canada. The shop would probably even teach you how to set one up.

The one I recently got is a Levoit. Got it on Amazon. It works well, within its limits, and on the fan’s lowest setting I can barely hear it sitting right next to it.

Thank you for all your help. I might try the Winix 5500-2 air purifier. I hoping it will get rid of all smoke and smell in small room. I will not using the plasma wave feature because of pet budgie. See Amazon link.

I don't know where you got the idea I smoke aromatics as I might smoke them 3 times a year at best. I am sorry if I misunderstood who you were talking to. It it wasn't me ...never mind. I smoke 4-6 bowls of Virginia, Vaper and Virginia/Kentucky/Burley flakes and plugs exclusively. My cellar is filled with mostly tins and maybe 45 pounds of bulk. I always have 20-25 tins open at the same time as I like variety and I have these tupperware like containers that keep the tins fresh for years.

I was agreeing with your talk about using nice filters to get nice results. The rest refers to the OP.
