She was a favorite of my mom, who covered a lot of her songs back in the day in honky tonks. She would be about the same age if she was alive.
RIP, Loretta had a good run.

I'm always sad to hear when n icon goes. This one is personal as I grew up listening to her songs! RIP Loretta, you will be missed!

I never knew her work. I did a quick search though. She seems to have been a big name and will be missed by many.
