It looks like it would be a waste of money.
If it was a great smoker for tobacco, the word would already be out on it, there are far better options if you need a compact pipe for a short smoke.
If you smoke tobacco in a pipe like that, you can expect that everyone that sees you will be thinking that you are smoking weed.

Looks made for toking at a concert (I have witnessed such degenerate behavior). Smoldering tobacco would probably burn right through it, though.

Back in the day, I had a “Grass Mask”, a respirator mask with a tube to the bowl.
It was the red eye express… with the paralytic stuff available now, it would put me in a coma.

As a youngster, did you ever smoke “tobacco” with an apple, aluminum can, shell casing or toilet paper roll tube with foil bowl? 😉

 I believe I’ve got the prize fir most unusual , in S Asia we came across a stash a Viet General was gonna sell, we had no pipe, I unloaded my Remington, stuffed the chamber with stash and we proceeded to smoke the barrel of the Remington peace pipe, I then realized it had no effect on me, but crew was rolling and behaving very silly, I then put a match to the load of stash and probably made a Viet General very mad. Since then no Stash has passed my lips. I Garronte!

The strangest pipe I've seen was handed to me at a Dead show in Providence. It was an egg-and-claw affair, but was a wooden bowl held by an actual chicken foot bound to the shank. Eeww.
