It’s called Red on Amazon Streaming, Brian Cox and his dog, teenagers Rob him while he is fishing and kill his dog, they shouldn’t have done that to an old soldier.

Regrettably, I just can't emotionally stomach any tales that harm or kill critters of any sort. My son also recommended this film to me but sadly I had to thank him (and thank you) and look forward to his and your future suggestions.

I hate when dogs are killed in films. Kill the actors. Leave the dogs alone! (I know it’s all fiction. I still hate it.)

I hate when dogs are killed in films. Kill the actors. Leave the dogs alone! (I know it’s all fiction. I still hate it.) I had a friend in the early 2000s who was a retired TV and movie actor. He is an Italian American from NYC who usually played bad guys and Native Americans. He died a thousand deaths at the hands of "Sgt. Friday, Mannix, Starsky & Hutch, Kojak, Beretta, etc. Anyway, his message was never, ever appear on stage or on screen with a DOG!.

W.C. Fields said the same thing. (He also included kids.)
