Gents, as I understand it, tobacco reviews puts these 2 similarly sounding blends in 2 categories. Gawith Hoggarth Scotch Flake vs. Scotch Flake Aromatic. Supposedly the Aromatic has a much stronger topping, particularly stronger in chocolate than Bob's.
I purchased a box of Scotch Flake AROMATIC as listed per P&C's website but they sent the regular, which I already have.
There is a difference correct?

I was not aware they ever made Scotch Flake as an aromatic. I only ever remember it being Scotch Flake, and Broken Scotch Cake (which I'm smoking currently and love). I wonder if it's a P&C mishap?
EDIT: No, I guess they've had it as an aromatic but it's not one SmokingPipes ever has in stock and I've forgotten about it. Thought it went out of production cause it's not been available anywhere for so many years, but that also leads me to think maybe P&C just mislabeled regular shipment of Scotch Flake as aromatic?

Tobacco reviews has them in separate descriptions:
Scotch Flake:
A very sweet 100% Virginia tobacco, Scotch Flake is a combination of flue cured Virginias from Brazil and Zimbabwe, augmented with a smaller amount of sun cured to add sweetness and body. Similar in content to Broken Scotch Cake, it's darker appearance is a result of it being pressed prior to slicing into flakes.
Scotch Flake Aromatic:
Sweet blended with vanilla and cocoa.

Yes, you're absolutely right there. I'd just totally forgotten about it because I primarily shop SmokingPipes and haven't seen the aromatic in so long. Hopefully P&C gets it sorted out for you and they've got the aromatic version.
