Sugar Barrel has some sweetness to is. Briggs is a straight burley that you can smoke alone or use as a mixer. Country Doctor and Walnut are both burley blends with latakia. jiminks' reviews on tobaccoreviews.com may help you more. I have not smoked the matches but most have received favorable comments.

Uhle's Perfection Plug or #00 are my go to unsweetened Burley smokes. Difference between them is PP is cube cut which some don't prefer. 00 is shag cut and they taste similar to me. My favorite though is #300 which is mixed with a little Cavendish. All three are great all day smokes in cobs. Shoot me a PM John, give me an address and I'll get some samples in the mail.

I posted all my Match reviews at TR.com, but this link has them in one place. Hope Justin doesn't mind that this link is from another forum. pipesmokersforum.com/community/threads/jims-sutliff-match-reviews.44884/

Your review of MM965 confirmed what I'd been thinkin. Having had the "current" original in a tin Dunhill and the Match 965, I find that I enjoy the match a little more than the actual Dunhill. It's not a huge difference to my uneducated palate, but there's something more enjoyable about the match. Thanks for the link

Thank you Jim for some great reviews. Now I have to figure out where to start. Kinda like "How do you eat an elephant?" One bite at a time.
