Ron when you can post a picture of the greenhouse! We (She) bought it. This is when they first installed it. I have since wired it and built a front porch with steps and a ramp. I also installed an automatic vent fan in the back top. I also did the floor and bench tops in log oil.

What brand and how big? It's 8x12 and we bought it off a local lot. It's from General Shelter out of Center, Texas. Since we got it I've seen several that I like better. They are T-111 up to the bench height and a little more ridged. They would be easier to heat and hold up longer. I have seen a bunch going by on trucks but I have no idea who built them. I'm sure you have some of the portable building lots around you. I would suggest that you shop around. I offered to buy her a 10x16 a couple of years ago for $6k, but she didn't want one that big. Now she has regrets.

That looks pretty cool with the benches around the side. Any greenhouses that I've seen over here don't have any benches - they are sheets of glass and everything is on the ground. This is MUCH better.

This is MUCH better. It depends on what you are growing. For taller plants such as tomatoes and beans would be better without the shelves.

She does nice work with the plants. An excellent hobby. I often wanted to do that, too. However, these strange pods appeared and I do not know what to do with them.

I just sent my brother a link to this. He just built a greenhouse, and he needs to add the aluminum drip and corner stuff. Looks great!

My wife's best friend sent her a amaryllis for Christmas. This is what came up. It's got 3 more buds and the flower is 7 inches across.

It was a great gift. It came in a heavy ceramic pot, ready to grow. When we got the box we were totally bumfuzzled.

A nice setup, Ron, and some beautiful flowers! Both the wife and I are brownthumbs. Cactuses die on us.
Several years back I visited the Biltmore estate and marveled at the arboretum with rare orchids as such, that was a huge set of greenhouses. The tour guide explained that living plants were ushered in and out of the house and arboretum back in the day.
It that something you guys practice, or enjoy the hobby of being in the greenhouse, providing fresh cut flowers for the house, etc…?

She keeps a half dozen orchids and at least a dozen African violets in the house. Big plants, sick plants and starters are in the greenhouse. Her dad could grow anything. He got a hundred pounds of bananas off his trees in Houston most years. He also raised birds, chickens, goats and other stuff. If you have trouble growing stuff, apply goat shite.
