So this has been on my mind for a few days, actually since November 11th. I would like to say Thank You to our Veterans. Somehow this was missed this year. Would like to share how I spent my Veterans Day with you, not that I am that great of a person but tried to take the opportunity to server those who have served us (me). A friend of my wife and I was out from Texas his sister in law had committed suicide he finally took up my offer to help on Friday which was Veterans Day. Drove to town picked him up and took him to breakfast where we visited and took a very small order to go for his wife. She is also a disabled Veteran. He tried to pay the bill told him he was not allowed for it was Veterans Day. Went back to where his sister in law had been living and helped move things into a U-Haul. We took to storage unit for the oldest child to start their first place when he gets out of foster care 17 years old the younger child left behind was 7yo. This only took a few hours of a day I had no work. I felt it was an opportunity to server those who I knew who served our country it just happened to fall on Veterans Day. Let us not forget our Veterans and when we get an opportunity to server them please do so they earned it! Thank our Veterans on this forum.

You done good, most Veterans feel like Hey we did our duty, but thanks. It’s sad we can’t do anything for the ones that didn’t come back.

I always take the time to thank a vet when I run across one, which is quite often. I chose tunnels to towers as my chosen charity when shopping at Amazon, collectively we can give substantially. smile.amazon.com/ch/02-0554654
