Had to do a factory reset on a company phone, the phone is less than a year old, and required 44 manual updates, 20-30 minutes apiece.

I hate them because they are loaded with crapware. Had them for company phones for years. Have a OnePlus now. Has it's issues but better than the Samsung.

It's all I've used for the last 15+ years. I like em.
My only complaint is all the preloaded apps that I NEVER use.

At least in my case it is often the carrier choice that gets the bloatware, and they usually (or at least used to) hard code it so you cant remove it. Come to think of it, my last several phones were Samsung....

Samsung has their own, so does AT&T. I can't get rid of either, but they're disabled in my app settings. But still, it's taking up room on a phone that I paid for *shrug*

My Oneplus didn't come with anything that I couldn't remove. In hindsight there should have been a few protected apps.

I use a Samsung Galaxy 13 or 14. This is my first "Smart Phone". The learning curve is steep and on going.

I use a Samsung Galaxy 13 or 14. This is my first "Smart Phone". The learning curve is steep and on going. There are a lot of great videos out there to help you get the most out of using a mobile device. I use very little of what my phone's capabilities are, but I am slowly expanding my knowledge in that regard.
