I bought 6 tins. The price has increased so much the past few years that those 6 tins cost $101 with tax and free shipping. I can't believe that Black XX and Brown Rope No. 4 are now $17.50 a tin. Still remember when they were $8.99 what seems like not all that long ago. I know, stay off my lawn.
I got the email triggers when they restocked and I just sat and debated it for a while because I was NOT going to buy more tobacco this month. I bought 3 tins of Carolina Red Flake a couple days ago from P&C.

I just need a couple boxes of FVF They have not gotten 250 gram boxes in stock at any point in the past three years or more now. In fact, they've even removed all their listings at SmokingPipes. I believe only Navy Flake that's been listed in 250g for a long time now. (Nope, it looks like they've removed that one too.) |

Thank you for that tip/heart breaking news. I have enough squirreled away to make it last a while. I'll have to suck it up and order a few each time they drop. 17.50 for the ropes is a punch in the gut. But the Brown No. 4 sure is delicious. Thankfully I missed it this time  Looks like I'll be popping more jars of other Va's. |

They moved all the tins up to $15 and $17.50 for the ropes. I want to say the last drop they had of SG tins earlier this year they sold for $13.99. Only about 2-3 years ago they were still I believe $10.99, I'd have to go back and look at receipts.

I believe you're correct. That's when I bought my last ones (10.99). Iwan Ries was 13.49 at that time and were the last place to have stock.
