and the wall unit I built, long ago, for my tobacco and pipes, has transformed into a winter wonderland of Nutcrackers, snowmen and Santas from Jim Shore, and whatever nic-nacs that will fit in the space leftover.
My Daily/ weekly selection of pipes and tobacco may not see the light of day until the end of February. I have pipes and tobacco aplenty to keep me puffing, all season long, but in the rush to put this project behind me, I packed away my jar of C.C.07
...HOW SILLY!... I wish you could see the way all these nutcrackers are casting their toothy little grins at me; they know I'll be digging that jar out sometime before Christmas eve.
Being the good, pipe smoker's wife that she is, my wife noted that the changing temps of the garage might not be good for my briars, and found a fitting hideaway for the items here in the house, so there is a quick fix...till sometime in mid-December, I'll be enjoying a different string of pipes, and some new{to me} tobaccos.
P.S. as I was proofreading my post I noticed a small jar at my right elbow...Chatham Manor...the one that got away!
