Hello all, Just got home a few hours ago from the TAPS Pipe and Tobacco Expo in Raleigh... pipesmagazine.com/forums/topic/triangle-area-pipe-smokers-20th-annual-pipe-amp-tobacco-expoWhile there I picked up an older tin of Penzance... The gentleman I bought it from told me it was aged, but he wasn't sure how old it was. He thought that either the presence or absence of wording on the tin label indicated the age of it. I know that's pretty vague, but something tells me that this fine sight, being chocked full of Pipe Tobacco Aficionado's and all, will most certainly shed some light on the matter. Thanks in advance. Dino

I've preferred the bags for value and have only four tins on hand. Here's my oldest tin from 2007. The lettering is different; unfortunately, that's the best I can do. You'll need to hand the ball to someone else who can tell you if your tin is older?

Thanks Mark.
With a little help from the fellas over on another site, and a little google fu, we've determined that it's 90's tin. 1999 or older.

You going to open it, Dino? I've never had it before so I'll definitely smoke it... Just trying to decide which one of my briars gets the privilege and what occasion to celebrate.

Thanks Mark. With a little help from the fellas over on another site, and a little google fu, we've determined that it's 90's tin. 1999 or older. Cool. Be interesting to hear how the age has treated it. Enjoy Dino.
