I collect old Heddon fishing lures. I ran across this assortment of mostly old Creek Chub lures today. 27 lures for $100. Awesome deal. I added the three Heddons that were in the group to my collection and will resell most of these later. I might keep a Pikie or two and a couple of others. Do any of you guys collect tackle?

Not on purpose. Every time we go fishing I buy new stuff.

I have favorites that I have used for years. Now that I kayak fish, I never lose a top water lure. Some of the ones in the picture above go back to the 1920’s or 30’s.

If you ever get this way, bring your kayak. Caddo Lake is primeval paradise.

Sort of. Indirectly. I used to love surf fishing in the Gulf of Mexico when I was eleven and have always wanted to fish here in Texas, so have all the gear for bass and crappie. Here is a pic of my main bass fishing tackle box. I have two others, one for crappie and a smaller one that's more portable. Total number of fish caught: 0 Seeing as I don't actually go to the water and fish, I guess I 'collect tackle'.

Only collect fishing lures if there is a fish attached to it. LOL

I collect the lures that I find stuck on my dock.
