I'm rather surprised with Peterson, but fully expected SP to stand by their product. Good for them.

Though disappointing, I'm not surprised by Peterson's reply. That being said, I'm also not surprised by the folks working for Smoking Pipes doing the right thing. Having had a chance to tour their facility and meeting Sykes, a few years ago, I have nothing but good things to say about the entire organization. Upon entering the facility we were asked what our cigar of choice was. They promptly presented said cigars, clipped them and lit them for us. We then proceeded to tour the entire facility and meet the staff, all while enjoying our cigars. Gotta love that. We were then invited to drive over to their Cornell & Diel facility and were given a tour of that entire facility as well, sans the cigars, no smoking allowed in there. They have subsequently become my online pipe and tobacco vendor of choice. It's Tobaccopipes that replaced his pipe. |

This is sad to hear about the response from Peterson. Smokingpipes is top notch and I will continue to give them business. I would follow up with Peterson. They need to work on their customer service, imo. I hope you will like the new pipe as well as the old one.
