4 patients in two weeks, all had taken every Covid vaccine, all had 3-4 bouts with covid afterward, two have died as a complication from the last bout with Covid. The whole story is not being told, and nearly impossible to find the truth...thanks to big Pharma and Big Tech....but hey, they are looking out for you! I know that it is anecdotal, but I see what I see. The key word here is "patients" ... those with pre-existing conditions, especially something as advanced as renal failure, have much higher morbidity rates. Unmanaged diabetes and heart conditions also seemed high on the list. Good point.

Just got back from Scheels to puck up a few Christmas presents with the wife.
The electric bikes look amazing, thick beefy tires, suspension systems that are impressive, along with an impressive range, the batteries are hidden away. They tend to run around 3K, but if a person has a lot of country to ride in and can justify the expense, they look like a lot of fun. I was offered to take any for a test ride around the parking lot, but I resisted the temptation… I have a Scheel’s Visa that is just too darn acessible.
Always impressed with the knowledgeable staff, professionalism, and genuine friendliness…. quite a culture they have.

Not doing anything worth mentioning, by comparison. On Dec. 7, 1941, the Japanese empire launched a surprise attack on the United States naval base at Pearl Harbor. Texas native Doris Miller was a steward on the USS West Virginia when the attack began. He manned a deck gun and fought off the attacking aircraft. For his heroism, he was awarded the Navy Cross. Those of us who were born in the shadow of WW2 remember this day, the fall of Wake Island and the Corregidor/Bataan defense and surrender. When we are gone will the younger generations remember this day and the others which followed? Likely not. That is what the passage of time does to us.

I've thought about it for the back roads around here, but for less money I can get a small motorcycle or scooter that would actually be safer. The wife is my excuse.

We have a moron for a vice president. Prime example ... I'm not offended because I don't care. However, many others would be. It's just not necessary on a pipe and tobacco forum. There are many other sites to tout ones political opinions.

I personally don't care, but that's not the issue. The issue is if this statement from the rules and regulations is still valid:
Politics & Religion
First, lets get this out of the way... absolutely positively NO politics or religion. This includes imagery, pictures, statements, etc. Sorry, but there are hundreds of forums on the web that offer this type of platform. I have learned first hand that these are conversations that you don't even have with the best of friends. While they may go fine at first, they usually melt into a steaming pile of anger and hurt feelings.

My post wasn't political, just a comment on the passage of time. If I could have found a better clip, I would have used it. I also like schoolbusses.

Tomorrows my Mom and Dads 50th wedding anniversary. My dad got mini bundt cakes for her and the hospital staff. I am hanging in their focosing on the progress she is making day by day. and providing what moral support i can do to dad.

Popped on to say hi. Good to see we're keeping the place politics-free 😳
I actually smoked a pipe the other day for the first time. I met someone I knew who has landed themselves in prison so I brought my pipe along with me and went for a walk on the beach beside the prison. It was windy so the thing was done in about 10 mins, but it was nice all the same.
