We watched the Feast of the Seven Fishes the other night and really enjoyed it a lot. Last night we watched the recommended movie Stand Up Guys and that was also really good.

Pretty wild, huh? I never knew Pez had a Black Market! 😅 I think it has mostly evaporated, but I did order 10 dispensers directly from Pez. Cheap thrills.

"Courageous". 2005 or so.
Now before getting into some rant about "Christian" movies, let me say that the values and faith depicted are pertinent to every organized religion I know of. You can check with Joseph Campbell if you do not agree with me,
Georgia, I should think. Rural county. Sheriff's Deputies affirm their values as men of good faith in various trying circumstances.
AN uplifting movie and worth a watch. Please do not get hung up on the names of things. Get to their heart.

My wife wanted to watch "All Quiet on the Western Front". I told her that she really didn't. Very well made movie. She made it 2/3 through it. I think that Ukrainians are the only ones that want to fight anymore. And Africa.

Watched the first three episodes of "Wolf Hall" last night. Holds up great. Every scene is like an old painting with the lighting, costumes, the actor's faces. Then there is that superb music score written by Debbie Wiseman. The Cast are brilliant. What talent!

Just watched The Northman. More bloody than most. Let's just call it interesting. So glad I found out that I'm descended from Goths instead of Vikings.

She usually likes this kind of movie once she gets into it. Left to her own, it would be Hallmark and pimple porn.

"Master and Commander" for about the tenth time. What a well made movie that is.
Rumors afoot on social media of a sequel or prequel. They better hurry up as Russell Crowe ain't getting any younger.

I think that ship may have, er, sailed. I think Crowe wanted to make it, but the first one lost money. Lacked the proper exploitation. Ask Murray Sline. "youse gotta prepare the proper exploitation."

Last weekend I watched "The Ballad of Buster Scruggs" by the Coen Brothers. It's a series of short stories about the Old West; kind of a bizarre experience.

Watched Kesari, Indian movie about a last stand like our Alamo, subtitles in English, good friend reccomend it and Bollywood puts in Danceing scenes, but this really happened and they have Shrine for the feat. I enjoyed it, watched it on my new 85 inch Samsung, Mountains and scenes were beautiful.
