Padron Maduro Lonsdale 42x6.3 backed up with Big Red soda. Test drove a Suburu Forester Wilderness with chihuahua riding on the center console. Dealership must be hard up to bring it all the way to me about 70 miles round trip. The wife said she liked it because it sits higher up like our full size chebby pick up.

I got a hankering for a cigar earlier today. Started looking into getting back into stick tobacco a little bit, again, remembered why I got out of it, and stopped looking. Cigars are just so much fussier to store. Even just picking up a fiver of something (Monte Whites, RyJ Reserva Reals, or Ashton VSGs, probably), I'd need some way to store the suckers that I'd be happy with.

I've owned enough humidors to know I don't like the ones I have to open to check the humidity, especially the 50- to 150-capacity ones that already tend to be unstable. (That also includes the ones with the unreliable analog hygros you can read without opening the box.) I'm not a fan of how often they have to be topped up with a humidity source, either.
I like cigars, but I'm not really a suitable cigar owner, I think. I'm too absent-minded and too lazy to keep them in good condition for more than a month or two.

Boveda makes a heavy duty zip lock bag in 2 sizes, one for 15 cigars and another for 25 cigars. they will last for about a year. I have used them and they work great. Also they do not cost very much. Great for storing cigars without the fuss and bother of a humidor.
