Boveda makes a heavy duty zip lock bag in 2 sizes, one for 15 cigars and another for 25 cigars. they will last for about a year. I have used them and they work great. Also they do not cost very much. Great for storing cigars without the fuss and bother of a humidor. D'oh!

Travel bags are a convenient alternative to storing cigars. For me, I like something a bit sturdier. Go to Walmart or Amazon, purchase an air tight, waterproof plastic container, throw in a Boveda pack and you’re all set. It’s also a great alternative storing them in your luggage when flying.

West Tampa Cigar Co. Attic Series with a San Andres weapper. Highclere Castle barrel aged gin neat on the side Thoughts on Attic Series? This was only my 2nd one. I really enjoy this one. Glad I took the chance and bought a box. Took the chance, because I do like their other cigars. medium strength. Easy on the retro. 2 comments on it. Which has been the case with both I’ve smoked. tight draw for the first half. then the final 3rd, it gets very soft, and very open draw.

Cult Blood Red Moon Habano puro Nicaraguan 42x4.7 stored out of the cellophane wrapper for well over a year in the ammo box. Tasty smoke paired with hot black coffee. Chihuahua standing guard protecting me and the ammo box humidor.

Man, there are so many cigar brands that didn't exist when I stopped smoking them, 10 or 12 years ago.

Agreed! That's why I appreciate when a poster on this thread gives a flavor and strength characteric profile of what they're smoking. Helps quite a bit in narrowing down potential purchases for enjoyment. Many of our poster's here are well seasoned with experience, and often point the way with great recommendations!

Got a blend kit from Whole Leaf Tobacco a while back. Rolled up this little guy from wrapper and binder offcuts. Size is 4" x 1/2". Turned out ok. Fun to make and fun to smoke.

There was an inexpensive AF candela I liked. I was also really getting into lanceros, lonsdales, and double coronas around the time I stopped.

Man, there are so many cigar brands that didn't exist when I stopped smoking them, 10 or 12 years ago. Despite repeated attempts the cigar industry, in my opinion, has grown significantly. Although we’ve lost some iconic brands like Nat Sherman, new boutique brands are sprouting showcasing some amazing blends.

Right off the bat, I'd say Rojas and Don Pepin may fit the bill for something new to try. Currently, I'm smoking an Ezra Zion FHK with a few years age ... woody, earthy, creamy, dark cocoa notes.

I'm smoking an Ezra Zion, don't know the name. But, it has a blue and white ribbon in place of a paper band. Tasty.
